Jimbo had another exciting day. He went to go meet his future pack and family today. In fact, he seemed pretty happy there and wasn't ready to leave when I was :)
We came back to my house and got ready for Trick or Treat. Jimbo was a good sport. He let me put a costume on him and then he went with me across the street to go visit some neighbors before Trick or Treat started.
He was a "greyhound bus."

Jimbo Gives Lessons on Chillin'
Jimbo is the sweetest, mellowest boy. His eyes are so expressive. You can't help but forget the rough day you might have had when you take one look at his big brown eyes.
He sure knows how to relax. Most of us could use a few lessons from this "Master of Chillin'."
He's even giving his foster brother Blaze a few pointers.
In return Blaze is showing Jimbo how to enjoy toys.
Jimbo is quite the charmer. Come meet him and see if he doesn't put you under his spell.

Jimbo's Big Outing
Jimbo went with me to a friend's little girl's 4th family birthday party at a local park. He's getting more comfortable riding in my crew cab truck. I helped him into the folded down backseat and he laid right down on the dog bed and blankets already set up for my dogs.
We picked up another friend and off we went to the park for the party. It was a gorgeous afternoon. The birthday party was in one of the park's pavilions. Jimbo was a perfect gentleman. He enjoyed greeting all the people there at the party, including the 4 year old girl's whose birthday it was, her 6 year old brother and her 18 month old triplet brother and sisters.

Super Jimbo
He wasn't quite sure what was happening so he'd get up and look around every so often.
Jimbo is a big, sweet boy. He is very laid back. He's been great with our 15 year old family cat and our 5 year small lab mix. He's been interested in our parrot, Reggie and I suspect in time Jimbo would do fine with Reggie.
Jimbo is pretty darn smart. He taught himself how to go up and downstairs on his own just out of his determination to be with the whole family. The hardwood floors haven't bothered him too much unless he's going to fast and slides between throw rugs.
He met a friend's 3 year old little boy the 2nd day he was here and really seemed to enjoy the little boy (who loves dogs and is well mannered).
He enjoys going outside in the fenced in backyard with his foster brother (greyhound) and sisters (greyhound and small lab mix).
He definitely wants to be part of everything and see everything. He'll make a great dog for some lucky family out there. He just seems to take everything in stride. Everything about this boy is super!
